A bank cabinet that is used to be the center of circulation of money, people and materials, now strangely remains within the gallery space. This odd space-object deprived of its essential function reminds Kang of the ephemerality of circulation of money, material, and communication. For Kang, the ephemeral materiality of projection seems to be the optimal vehicle to deliver this idea. Kang attempted to transform this empty, useless space into a multi-sensorial and dynamic space by adding layers of artificial light and animation. This site-specific projection mapping work temporaily transformed the static bank cabinet room into the dynamic space through which the viewers can navigate.
