UCLA’s Design | Media Arts MFA candidates have worked and exhibited internationally in a wide variety of festivals, shows, conferences and workshops, including Sundance Film Festival, Glow Festival, LACE gallery, Konstfac Interactive Institute, ACE Conference, Japan Media Arts Festival, Media Lab Prado, Offf Lisbon Festival, Disposable Film Festival, Shanghai Biennale.

Hailing from diverse backgrounds and fields, they have lived and worked nationally and internationally in such places as China, New Zealand, Korea, Singapore, Argentina, Portugal, Japan and Madrid. At D|MA, they have been engaged in a wide ranging exploration of the creative potential and social implications of emerging technologies and cultural trends.

the Seoul Museum of Art, Nam Seoul Annex building
-The Seoul National Museum holds an exhibition based on the theme of Seoul, "The Renaissance of Han River", during the 2008 High Seoul Festival showing various works and information of artists who try to look back at historical trace of Seoul throughout the history of its development at the Han River, and to discern present and future environments of it. ○ Thus, the exhibition will provide an opportunity to reproduce the images of Seoul throughout the history of its development around Han river for 600 years since the Joseon Dynasty, through the eyes of the artists and to observe the viewpoint and environmental intervention and consciousness toward the society through their works on the Han River that has survived the upheaval of the nation in society, economy, history and biology and to discern past, present and future images of Seoul as the social environment surrounding us.
